Been a while since I posted a blog, I am still working at quilters haven, along with Pam, I have been working on a William Morris Block quilt, all the applique is done and am about to start quilting will post a picture next time. Pam and I are looking forward to Festival of Quilts, we have again booked our little coach for the day,Mary, Lyn, Carol, Jane and Sarah are coming too.

Quilt in a Week

I spent a very pleasant week as tutor for Quilt in a week at Quilter's Haven, seven ladies arrived with sewing machines, equipment, and projects to be completed. We all had ideas to share,and helped each other with pinning quilts ready for quilting, Maria came from Port Talbot,Valerie came from Witham, Carol travelled from Malden. Judith Jan Janet and Helen are local to QH.It was good to see valerie again we met on the Swiss trip last year.Here are some pics of the projects

Penny's Dress

Iam sooo proud of my grandaughter, for getting 1st place in a dress design comp. she must be taking after both Nans who share a passion for sewing.
